Nina came to El Paso from Chicago as a young child. She is a self-taught photographer, whose fascination started when she received a camera for her 10th birthday. What she loves about photography is that “It Captures Life”. Her love of the Southwest, led her to specialize in the vivid views of our desert, mountains, landmarks and eateries.
Opening Sunland Art Gallery
About 18 years ago she was encouraged by some artist friends to start showing her work at local fairs and to become a member of The El Paso Art Association. She has since received awards for her work at many shows and exhibits in the El Paso area.
Nina is now retired from EPISD and lives in the Upper Valley with her husband, Larry.
In their home studio, he transfers her images to ceramic tiles, stone coasters, mouse pads and magnets. They also accept custom orders with favorite images of your family and pets.
